1. Welcome & Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between you and Supersquid, powered by Mandalora AI. By accessing our website (supersquid.co), creating a companion profile, tapping a physical NFC key, or participating in Supersquid Challenges, you agree to these Terms.
2. The Nature of Real Caring AI
Supersquid is designed as a personal, empathetic, and attentive AI companion that listens, remembers, and brightens your everyday moments:
- Emotional Support & Inspiration: Supersquid provides playful conversation, study untangling, and heartfelt check-ins.
- Important Healthcare Disclaimer: Supersquid is an artificial intelligence entity, not a licensed medical doctor, clinical psychologist, psychiatrist, or emergency crisis hotline. If you are experiencing mental health emergencies or physical distress, please contact professional medical services or national crisis helplines immediately.
- Evolving Personalities: Persona archetypes (e.g., The Comedian, The Mentor, The Listener) adapt based on interaction history, but reflect artificial conversational models rather than human beings.
3. Physical Keys & The Squid Portal
When you purchase or receive a Supersquid plushie, keychain, or token:
- Physical Ownership: The physical merchandise belongs to you. Embedded NFC chips are passive and do not contain batteries or emit active radio signals.
- Portal Reconfiguration: Senders configuring gifted portals are solely responsible for audio notes, photographs, or text messages uploaded for the recipient. Uploading illegal, defamatory, or abusive content to a portal will result in immediate termination of portal services.
- Device Compatibility: Tap-to-awaken features require a modern smartphone equipped with enabled NFC capability.
4. Supersquid Challenges & Outdoor Safety
Our Challenges feature encourages you to step outside, walk scenic routes, and locate physical NFC tags in the real world. When exploring:
- Personal Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your physical safety, health condition, and situational awareness while walking, running, or cycling.
- Mindfulness & Laws: Never trespass on private property, ignore traffic signals, or enter hazardous environments to tap a checkpoint.
- Respect for Surroundings: Leave no trace in parks, lookouts, and public spaces where Squid tags are hosted.
5. Community Guidelines & Conduct
Supersquid fosters an inclusive, heartwarming sanctuary. We enforce zero tolerance for:
- Hate speech, discrimination, bullying, or harassment of any kind.
- Distribution of non-consensual imagery, malware, or spam.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Mandalora AI infrastructure.
6. Subscriptions & Physical Orders
Basic companion chat features and challenge exploration are free. Premium portal expansions and physical merchandise are billed at clearly indicated prices:
- Physical Orders: Shipped in artisan packaging. Defective items will be replaced promptly upon inspection.
- Digital Subscriptions: Can be canceled anytime through your account dashboard or app store settings.
